DBX 1:1 training begins with an assessment session where we evaluate the player’s skill level. Using DBX comprehensive skill-assessment drills, combined with our professional judgement, we will highlight the players strengths as well as the areas that require improvement.
Once we determine the player’s skill level, workouts are tailored to address the areas that require improvement, as well as strategies to enhance areas of strength. Throughout the workouts, we will constantly apply our training techniques by emphasizing the importance of footwork and balance as a cornerstone of success for skill development.
The training consists of 4-tier levels. Each level involves progressive skill challenges involving footwork and balance, conditioning, basketball IQ, mental toughness and overall basketball skill development. Players that reach a defined skill level advance to the next level. Players must practice in and out of training sessions and complete skills challenges to advance in DBX tiered training development program.

SMALL GROUP TRAINING
Small group training effectively improves players’ skills and decision making when competing against other players of the same skill level. This traditional format, combined with a non-traditional workout plan, can improve overall basketball IQ. Group training sessions are done with 4-6 players in order to provide both an EQUAL LEARNING opportunity and an EQUAL amount of REPETITIONS, which are required for all group participants to improve their skills and decision making.
Before the group is formed we take the players through a DBX assessment session where we evaluate each player’s skill level. Using DBX comprehensive skills assessment drills complemented with our professional judgement we highlight areas of strength and areas that require improvement.
Only the players who are in similar skill/ability level work together in a group. The rest are offered our personal training, camps or clinics services, in order to elevate their skill level to the rest of the group. During these training sessions, we are prepared to cover any skill in basketball.
